I have always been passionate about cinema, and so this project captured some of my favourite cinematic styles and techniques. I utilized aspects from image effects (e.g. mimicry of fading film) to cinematic framing in order to capture a look and feel of a movie.
The different looks and feels of the images are inspired by the artistic expressions of different historical periods, i.e. film noir, the 60s freedom movement, disco era, modern cinema, etc. This is my creative way of showing how photography and cinema can evoke the sense of timelessness, and how the different artistic movements inspire future art.
