"Canceled" is spelled in a way it is in most online circles.

For a capstone project of my university career, me and two others explored cancel culture. We presented text, table, video, and graphic samples, the last of which I was in charge of. The subjects are those we based our case studies on and are depicted in a TIME magazine style. In a nutshell, my goal was to expose how individuals are forgotten about and are exposed all the same in cancel culture. An individual who is accused of serious assault claims, for instance, is often treated the same as someone who visited a controversial country for religious reasons or as a historical figure perpetuating genocide. In cancel culture, individuality is erased, and most (if not all) cases are treated on the same level of severity, often based on allegations or the vocal opinion of a few.
